Maureen Chokola

a little bit about me

Maureen Chokola is an illustrator, muralist, creator of miniatures, lover of paper, and collector of trash, from Baltimore, Maryland. She currently lives in Colorado with her husband and cat children.Her work focuses on the natural world, and the fantasies it inspires. She loves painting dragons, fairies, and mythical creatures from every realm. Nostalgia drives most of her work, and she feels a strong connection to her youth, playing in the woods and running around on all fours.
